I saw the reverse PTO cut off switch yesterday while I was installing a new brake switch on my 3000 Series Cub Cadet.
Now I'm thinking of eliminating it....because I use reverse often around trees.
Would I just run a jumper wire to the plastic plug female connectors ?
Or is it more involved than that ?
I would keep switch so if I ever sold tractor... all safety features would be working.

I just bought a 3205 and was under it cleaning, etc and saw what I think is the reverse safety switch. Mine has a metal tab that pushes the switch button. I removed the metal tab but I don't have the tractor back together to see if it worked.

You could also just bend the metal tab so it wouldn't engage the switch. If you ever sold it you could always just bend it back.

It is spring steel, I couldn't bend it far enough to clear.

It was an idea. Mine's made of metal so it bends really easy.

Just connect the two wires going into the switch. That switch actually "breaks" the current running through the wire.
