I don't replace the spring pins on the joints that I don't expect to take apart often. I use a cotter pin or even just wire them in place. The wire is that 14 gauge galvanized wire sold in like 30 foot loops at the home depot. My took bucket has that plus a pair of dykes for just this reason.
I've lost two of the bucket lynch pins so far. I bought 5 of them when I lost the first since losing that pin is pretty crippling and the OEM type pins are pretty cheap.
I lost one of the ROPS pin. I replaced it with a hitch pin temporarily and then a Kioti replacement when the order arrived.
Oh and the drawbar pins are retained with these huge spring pins that will be pulled off right away. Each of those has a bent nail holding it in since I don't intend to pull that long long drawbar out.
Yep, things fall apart in the brush. but so far no damage.
