Au contraire......
I've had the infamous left front tire leak on my BX23 on both turf and ag tires, from different years too!
I did have occasion to question the local Kubota dealer on what would be the best fill for them and he didn't recommend UDT nor SUDT as he indicated I'd just be dropping the $$$'s since according to him, they'll leak 'till kingdom come.... So he gave me some air to use as the fill.
Now this was before we were informed of global warming so I don't knwo if that air was globally warmed or not but in any case it didn't seem to hold very long at all. It didn't take long before all that free dealer air was gone so I had to come up with a plan B.
I do have an air compressor in my shop which resides in the dark recesses of my shop. The air in that part of my shop is little more dark and dank, which may be a deterient to the global warming but thats another story, and because of this dark and dank atmosphere it's possible that the compressed air produced in that abyss could be better than the free air I got from the dealer. And since it is still cheaper than UDT/SUDT as well whatever grade of oil I use in the engine, yet another story in itself, I decided the occasional refill of those infamous front left tires with my somewhat free dark & dank air would surfice.
Then, having tired :D of that, I decided to try this amazing product called Slime. Low and behold, I haven't had to refill either front left tire with the dark & dank free air since I used the rcommended doseage as stated on the bottle, brilliant!
Hummm, wonder if this amazing product will work in both the engine and HST :D :D

It makes perfect sense to me to not pay any attention to the reccomendations from the manufacturer. Rather follow the postings, even though confusing and contradictory, made by all of those experts who have never manufactured anything.

Regarding the tire leaking problem....make sure you have the Johnson Rod attached to the Mickleson shaft, which will ground down the isolation capacitor. Your tires will stop leaking

It's looking like it could be the rims then instead of the tires. Anyone else have the famed one front tire on the BX leaking that has other than turf?

I have a leaky (before Slime) left front Traction Master R4 on my BX24.

Up here in Canada I have a BX2660 2008 came with the farm tires (not turf) and persisitent slow leak on front wheel . Slime slowed it down , but has never completely been solved.

Originally I went so far as to take wheel of and completely submerge the whole unit into a large pail and still unable to see air leak.............

This is funny... I've got a 1850 that had a slow leak on the left front too, turf tires. Tire shop couldn't find anything so I just tubed it.

Looking like it may be a rim instead of the tires. I had one on, I think the BX2200 6 years ago and tubed it. Had one last year on the BX2350 so traded it, the BX2350, not the tire but that didn't work, the BX2660 I traded it to also has one that leaks every time I go back to use it. I'm between sliming and tubing it, can't decide.

I didn't understand what in your post makes you not trust manuals. The BX24 and BX2350 are the same tractors, almost and it appears that this is when Kubota implemented the change, during the production of these models. I've never changed a fuel filter yet but maybe I haven't kept a tractor long enough and I follow the manuals. I did change one on a Gas Kubota that the rubber filler cap lid ring had fell into the gas tank and stopped up the filter but never on any of my diesels. In my mind Kubota had studied and planned to make the service interval change for years. One day they did it. There has to be an ending minute and starting minute some where on almost any change and it appears one minute old manuals were produced and the next minute new manuals were produced. Date of purchase could have been different since the tractors are shipped all over and some dealers sell 10 a week and some dealers sell 1 in 10 years. Barlows has a new tractor that hasn't been made in 5 years that another dealer couldn't sell so it has been shipped to him to sell. Someone can probably get a great price on it if they want a 5 year old new tractor with full warranty and 0% interest. I didn't.

Easy since the engines and tranny are 99% the same as my old BX22.. There are alot of diffs between the two. I know the 22 had more services that my 24 does not. Then the dealers (some) state other things no in the book. Again, I trust manuls very little. They are a very general guide, that is all.
