I am thinking about using a replacement fluid in my tractor. I would prefer to completely drain the existing fluid. I know I can drain the HST but what about the FEL and the fluid that remains in those lines? Is there any way to cycle all the fluid out of the system?

I can't really think of a way other then loosening every hydraulic iftting and being able to move every cylinder to the extremes and you still couldn't get it all out. After the second change it would all be diluted enough it should be out. Most oils made today are compatible with other types and brands in small doses so it shouldn't be a problem.

Dealer told me just make sure all the hydraulic cylinders are retracted and that is the best way to make sure the most fluid is replaced.

By the way, here are the fluid specs I found in my 7360ss owners manual. Wish I had looked at this sooner. I just ordered the 12 gallons of oil from the dealer. Probably could have save a few dollars with these other brands. Enjoy!
