Replacement Ignition Keys

Where is a good place to stock up on some ignition keys?

A quick internet search pointed me to $22 to $27 per key.

The key is simple so I was expecting something much cheaper.

What are the keys for? If it is the newer transponder keys, then that price is a steal.

The part number is 40230393.
I don't know the price but the same key can be purchased at New Holland, Case, Farmall dealers. Same part number but with an MT in front of it.
Your XJ should have come with 2 keys.

The 40230393 number has been superceded and can also be ordered as 40266850 or MT40266850 for under $15.

Do you know if the Kioti Key is an equivalent match? The Kioti provides a picture and looks close.

I do not know if Kioti is the same. If the Kioti key part number is the same then the key is the same but I don't know the Kioti part #.

All new tractors come with 2 keys. I purchased 2 extra from the dealer for $30.

The XJ has the key in an easily damaged location. Many of us have redone it. My key stays in the tractor.
