Replace 42" Deck with 50" on pre-2007?

I have a Cub Cadet LT1042, model number 13BX11CG712, SN 1E065H20180. The tractor is in great shape, but my deck has been welded and repaired one too many times. I still love the tractor. I mow about 1 of my 3.3 acres. Since the 1000 series manuals support many models, I was curious if anyone had put a 50" deck on an LT1042? If I am going to replace it, I may as well upgrade...
