I am hoping someone out there can give me some good news on a bolt that needs tightened without removing the transmission transaxle assembly. It seems that a pivot bolt that is the anchor point for the the direction cam has come loose on my 97 vintage 855. I believe that the pivot bolt needs tightened so the cam rides correctly on the cam wheels. But it really looks like the tranmission needs to be removed to do so. This really looks like a huge job. I do not see any access holes. Has anyone one ran across this?

Are you looking at the bolt that goes straight down and clamps the cam plate tight on the square shaft? Cam plate has a V in it for the bearing to ride in.
