I can reach the levers by going over the fender Glenn, but it is quite a stretch while holding the top link in position.
If I remember right it was your E-mails and pictures that helped me when making my tilt cylinder. I appreciate that, Thanks.

Nice pictures Vince . I have a question . Is their a paricular reason why you used your adjustable down link on the opposite side of your new Hyd. tilt set up ? I would have thought you would just use the one piece side link for the other side, since you now have hdy. control tilt . I suspect you have a good reason or can enlighten this old elk hunter .
I never really thought about it before as my old Kubota had a solid side link opposite the hyd. tilt ram and I just thought they all came that way . I can see how you might be able to get a little bit more tilt out of the scraper box by doing this .By the way ,your tractor is way to shiny to dig in the dirt ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif A clean machine is a happy machine ! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have my hydraulic tilt cylinder set so my 3 point is level when fully retracted.
If for some reason I need to tilt an implement to the opposite side I can use the manual link.( I haven't needed to do that yet but I do have the option).

I try to keep it that way ! Its easy to keep shined up in the winter with everything frozen and more free time to go over it. Its difficult to keep it looking so good through the summer though.

OK ! Now you got me thinkin ! What if a guy bought a little longer tilt ram and set the hand adjustable link,on the opposite side , so it was more in the middle of the hyd. ram travel to make it scrape level ? Would you be able to tilt in either direction ? I know you would not be able to tilt as far ,but having a two way hyd. tilt sure would be nice . Gosh ! My brain hurts ! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

There is no reason that would not work, a couple things you may want to check into
1. Would you loose much lift height on you 3 point with the lift links set at half way.
2. Any easy, fast way to know when you are set back to level

Hey Vince !
Thanks for the Hyd. Ram part numbers . They arrived today and I should have the top and tilt finished up by tomorrow . The local rental yard had some old bent top links they gave me and they worked great . I only had to weld one new end piece on the one ram, to make them work. Tomorrow, I go get the hoses made up and then get to try it all out ! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Thanks again,
Big Al

I hope they work out for you !
Mine works real nice. My top link cylinder was red and my tilt cylinder came in white. I painted the cylinders using Rust Oleum- charcoal gray, which was a pretty close match to the tractors gray.

Hey Vince !
I tried adjusting the opposite side of the hyd. tilt ram. to get a two way tilt effect . It worked perfect ! I can't believe I never thought of trying that before . For 15 years I have lived with a one way tilt , but never again . It gives me about 8" to 12" of tilt both ways .
Thanks ,
Big Al
