Remote hydraulics problem

On my older John Deere the rear remote hydraulics are stuck in. Is there a way to get these pulled back out so I can hook up a cylinder? What would cause these to be stuck in the "in" position? Thanks.

I am not clear what part is "stuck in", are you talking about the QD's (quick disconnects)?

You can try a good penetrating oil(PB Blaster is my favorite) to loosen them up, but if they are really stuck then replacement may be the only option.

Did you turn off the tractor and move valve to release pressure?

I did this today and they came unstuck. Thanks a lot for everyone's help.
