After market 1040 hydraulic pump??

Gday everyone.

My 1040s hydraulic pump had a massive leak. We took it off and handed it to a guy that specialises in the older Deeres and he said too much of the pump is stuffed and would be cheaper to get an after market pump rather than fix the old one. Has anyone tried an after market hydraulic pump on a 40s or 50s (1750s or 1850s)

I've read Kin-Tec Industries is a good place to get a JD piston pump. If many parts are required to rebuild a pump a replacement pump is a better option. Home • Kin-Tec Industries • Cape Girardeau, MO
