Record Rainfall

Just be thankful all this rain isn't SNOW. I hear there is more on the way in the next few days in the N.E.. I can't remember the last time I took my motorcycle out for a spin. I was going to do it yesterday and this storm front came in just as I was leaving. I had to take the truck. No more rain, please.

Jim, Please refrain from using that 4 letter word. Summer is way too short as it is... June for us was a record breaker, 9" of rain, (another 4 letter word....). Farmers have not been able to cut much silage or bale any hay. Some folks just finished, (or gave up on) getting their corn in.

Surveyed the property yesterday.

Lost some BIG trees by my creek. Over they went. Water looks to have been up over five feet, easy.

Yet another project.

BUT, my farmhouse is dry! Probably for the first time since the '70's thanks to our restoration/remodelling project.

Thankfull we are.
