Recommendations on inline baler and accumulator

I'd recommend the kuhns system. Its dead simple and besides greasing the slide where the bales travel down the backside and figuring out the spring tension it has been a very good unit for us. We used the 10 bale model where the pattern goes 4-4-2 the last two being turned sideways. It actually makes haying enjoyable with the grapple once you get onto the quirks of it. I was grinning ear to ear sitting in an AC cab and stacking hay! I was about as tickled as a pig in poop. You definitely need a large trailer or wagon if you are moving more than a mile or so to get your hay stored. You also have to have alot of room to maneuver with the grapple. It really makes a tractor long!

I'd like to change the subject a little, I have a Massy Ferguson 124 twine baler and I was doing just great until I loaned it out. I came back all beat up and the knotters wouldn't tie and it was out of time. I have it tying good but I cannot get it in time. I have tried to follow the directions in the book but I still can't come up with the proper timing. I assume you do the set up on the impact stroke and I have no problem with that but I can't get rest to fall in line. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd start with the timing chain that runs the knotters. If it's too slack, it may have jumped a tooth or two while your friend was torturing your baler.

Good luck.

Yes timing is checked/set on compression stroke. When attempting to time your MF baler are you turning the flywheel the correct direction that the tractor pto turns??
