I've finally been able to put in a couple of full days with my BX23 cleaning up around the old homestead (moving gravel up and down a steep ramp) and notice my right foot has developed a painful heal with pressure points corresponding to the treadle-reverse heel position.

I've never had any foot issues whatsoever... so I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed any tenderness related to the BX treadle?

When looking backward ( while in reverse) I have managed to get my old body twisted out of shape. No sore heal, but, my right knee and right hip take a heck of a beating from the bad position. I tend to have a little turn in the foot and vary what part of the foot I use. Yes, 24 hours of seat time in the last 36 hours took its toll.

I'd say it's a foot problem not a tractor issue.

I'm hoping it's a boot problem... that said, anyone know why the BX 24 and 25 no longer have the treadle or rocker pedal?

I seldom use my heel for the reverse treadle. I use my toe and pull up on the forward side of the treadle. My dealer suggested that when I bought it. I have never had any pains doing this and I am NO KID. Does anyone else do this?

I guess that I am lucky but on my L3130 my feet are big enough (15s) to span the forward and reverse positions on the treadle. I do not move my foot on the treadle. I do have to keep the Achilles tendon well stretched on my right foot but need to do that anyway. I have not tried lifting the forward position with my toe, might have to do that but the other is comfortable for me.

Hi There.
I had the same problem so I came up with a solution.
I made a little stand-off that I bolted onto the shaft of the forward paddle. I am now able to span the forward and reverse positions on the treadle with my foot.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture?
