Tires Rear Wheel Spacing

Citydude, That's some serious wheel width! Where did you go for the spacers? Any issues with axel stress?

I got the spacers from Motorsport Tech. I've got 150+ hours on them with no axle issues and absolutely the safest machine I've ever ran on slopes.

Has anyone swapped their own? Was it a Pain in the ***? Mine are filled 3/4 with water and Methanol.
Anyone else have any photos showing the tires set wide?

If you've never done it before, yes it is a pain in the behind.

I haven't lately, but routinely did so on other tractors as has my brother. I wouldn't recommend trying it alone if you don't have an engine hoist or another tractor. It's much easier and safer with a partner; very easy to lose control of a loaded tire and get hurt.

At my age, I just call the tire service if my brother or sons are not handy.

When you say reverse the rim and then place it either inside our outside, are you refering to placing it back on the same wheel or the wheel on the opposite side of the tractor. If it's the same wheel, wouldnt that change the direction of the tread?

Look at page 62 of the OM, I was trying to verbalize what it was showing. When I had mine spaced out, they had to change sides to keep the tread in the correct direction. My rear tires are marked for "traction" and something else. The local Kubota dealer knew what to do and did it.

I done it once 20 years ago. I was younger/stronger then. It was a little scary even then. This was a full size Utility tractor tire too. A smaller CUT would be a lot better.

The one he mentioned was that the rears would not follow the front tires exactly.

I flipped the fronts on mine too. Only downer is the valve stem is on the inside which is really not a problem. I think it only supposed to go on one way(lug nuts), but it works fine. I have narrow trailer ramps so I needed to make this change..

I think it is three, but hard to tell for sure, on the main rim from the photo

I was thinking three also. So I should be able to get 4" +/- more going to option four.

they look like setting three to me also.

Well according to the chart a L4330 can't use #1 (no clearance), it is #3 because the rim is behind the disc.

For #2 and #4 the rim would be visible in front of the center disc.
