I have a B7500 with FEL and turf tires and just did my 50 hour service. I am new to compact tractors and have spent a lot of time reading and learning from this forum. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I recently read a discussion thread about reducing the rear tire pressure down to about 10 PSI. Since my lawn is a bit bumpy I thought I'd try this. I put the left tire tire valve stem at 12 o'clock and, with a little beet juice spitting out, reduced the pressure from 20 to 10. When I went to do this on the right tire just air came out. So I started experimenting to see what valve stem position would start showing me some beet juice. It was almost 8 o'clock. This meant that my right tire didn't even have half of what it was supposed to. I called the dealer and the explanation that I was given was that this was probably the 2nd tire done and that the juice foamed up. They picked up my tractor, finished filling it and brought it back the next day. I just thought I'd let anybody know that has beet juice in their tires that if they never checked, they may not be full. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

never heard of beet juice....... is it a new product.... only familiar with Calcium Chloride..... the stuff that eats away at your rims.. My dealer is filling my tires with some new ecologically safe material, but am not familiar with it either. It is new to both him and I.

Thanks..... I had read them before, but none mentioned that rim guard was beet juice. Everyone just assumed that everyone else already knew that..... thanks for the information.....

Just reread them both and one does mention that beet juice is rim guard.... now is it really beet juice or made from beets?????

I believe it really is beet juice, made from beets /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I use plain water (don't freeze here, have tubes in all the tires), so I'm not completely up on the subject but from what I remember hearing it really is....beet juice.
