My father and I ordered a 4610 in october and we are still waiting, which is killing both of us. We ordered this with one rear remote. Since then we looked at a friends 4600 and noticed his rear remote lever was located in the right hand fender I was wondering if this is common or are they normally located next to the three point hitch lever?

On the 4000 Ten series, the 3rd SCV control lever is located just ahead of the rockshaft control lever. It has a direct connection to the 3rd spool in the valve. This is a change (and improvement in my opinion) from the earlier 4000 series where the lever was located on the fender with a cable running to the valve.

I hope you get your 4610 soon. I heard that the west coast longshoreman episode really hit the Augusta factory hard for a few weeks, but am told that they are back to full production.
