Rear hydraulics GC2310

Found a rear mounted snowblower for my rig, but the blower has a hydro cylinder for chute rotation. Two hoses, in/out.

So, I am thinking I need another joystick to run the rear hydrolics? But, how do I do that without making attaching/removing the Backhoe a nightmare.

I was betting that someone has done this before? Maybe a few pictues of the setup and install?

My first idea was to get longer hoses and tying into the FEL bucket joystick...but then I couldn't use the bucket at the same time. Not an option.

I am puzzled. You remove the BH, you then attach the blower and hook the hydraulic lines to a new valve that will control your blower. The problem is?
Maybe, where to mount the control?

I do appreciate the help, but it didn't seem obvious to me... My search through the archives here pulls up all kinds of stuff....people hooking up SCV Kits, Power Beyond kits, rear remotes? And I've only used linear actuators prior to this machine.

So, being new to hydraulics in general....

The BH has two ports...a line in for the hydro and a line out to complete the circuit?r loop, whatever the technical terms is.

So, I assumed that I needed a controller (Value?) that has 4 ports. So, like the BH...the two lines are connected up to the controller from the Tractor, and then there are 2 more lines from the controller out to the Blower (in/out on the cylinder)? And I would mount this somewhere on the rear of the machine.

Was hoping to see a picture or two of someone else's setup ... so I wouldn't have to expose my assumptions

All correct. It may be possible to mount the valve directly to or on the snow blower, (on some sort of fabricated mounting plate), if clearance permits. Otherwise you will have few good options. Perhaps you could find an electrically operated valve, (expensive), then you would only need a switch up front.

Actually the BH has 3 lines. In/Out and? Power Beyond line??? Is that right?
So, after some more digging in the forum it looks like I need a controller like this one (Eaton-Cessna 30920 series valve).
Then I'll have the in/out & PB lines running to it. And then each end of the cylinder on the Snowblower hooked to the ports on the spool. Think that's closer to the... proper solution. Has anyone done this before?

I was actually looking for a less elegant solution (aka CHEAP) .
Is there poor man's way to tie into the 3 lines that run to the BH directly. Since the BH would be off when the snowblower was on, I was thinking I could put some combination of ball valve's and/or T's in-line.

Please excuse my limited knowledge of Hydraulics.

I don't know about your 2310, but mine has only in and out.

Well, they must have added the 3rd line since they made mine. I am not sure that will make any difference. Where does the 3rd line hook up too?

My backhoe has 3 lines going to it too. Don't know where they go.

When you remove the backhoe, there are 3 lines. if you nitice the color codes you will see that you have the reattach 1 line in series so that you can operate the 3 pt hydraulics. the other is most likely a return which does not need to be hooked up when the the bh is off. As for another way of hooking up your snow blower, you can try and find a wire and handle set up and not use the hyd's.

I went through the same learning curve last fall for exactly the same reason. Princess Auto to the rescue. A single spool Bm20 open centre valve and some 1/4" couplers solve the problem. I mounted the valve on the right side of the ROPS on the existing bracket. The valve goes in series with the 2 BH hoses. The third BH hose is an extra return that makes the BH work a little better. I added it to mine later. I'll post pictures the next time the BH is off and when I figure out how to attach pics.

Princess Auto to the rescue. A single spool Bm20 open centre valve and some 1/4" couplers solve the problem. I mounted the valve on the right side of the ROPS on the existing bracket. The valve goes in series with the 2 BH hoses.

I second that. We are looking to add one to our MF 1523, and I flat out refuse to pay the insane $$$$ the dealer wants for a controller.

Valve is BM20 # 1249531, couplers are generic interchange with pioneer # 1290075, #1290076. 2 of each. I'll go and figure out the fittings in daylight. I changed things around a few times to make it as handy and unobtrusive as possible. Yes pictures are coming. Watch Princess Auto sales. This stuff will all come on sale. Savings on valve paid for most of the fittings.
