Howdy,

Would like to buy the RCR 1860 (chain guards and slip clutch) for my CT230. Brochure states the RCR 1860 needs a minimum of 20hp PTO which the CT230 (22hp PTO) can handle.

Does anyone have any experience with the RCR 1860 ($1400).

thanks,
george

I have not gotten my CT230 yet but I am under impression that the lift capacity and PTO Hp= No Problem The salesman said a 6' could be used on the CT230. I thought the 6' was pushing it a little though just because I live on a hill so I decided and went with the Woods HSS60 for mine if it ever shows up.

If you are in the mood I would check CL or paper there are alot of people dumping stuff cheap I paid $300 for a 1yr old. The thing has 1 scratch the paint isnt even faded only thing it is greyishblue figured I will paint it this winter the decals are only $25
Infact the it came from the dealer I brought the tractor from just a different location.

You know after reading up on this on some of the other posts I am glad ythis guy did not talk me into looking at the 6' I saw your post earlier on this subject where one member was saying keep a 5hp a foot of cutter sound good as I did talk to kobuta JD all of them infact and they said stay with under 25pto 5' over starts 6' so dont listen to me I am new just like you.
