A. = 5 I had a max budget. I would not spend over XX,XXX.xx Any machine I bought HAD to be under that. Features were added or deleted because of that.
B. = 3 I knew that within budget I could get enough HP to do what I wanted. I ended up with 35hp eng, but 27hp eng would have done the job.
C. = 3 The more I looked, the more weight I wanted. For what I am am using it for, more is better.
D. = 5 ALWAYS. One of the reasons I am happy I found TBN. I looked at the complaints for different brands and pretty much decided for myself that there wasnt much difference in new tech machines. Your milage may vary.
E. = 4 One of the reasons I crossed greene machines off the list was the dealer. One of the reasons I kept looking at the 2nd teir tractors is dealer.
F. = 1 Couldnt care less. However I knew that I gould get more tractor for the same money with gear and I have been clutching and shifting since I was old enought to see through the steering wheel.
G. = 4 Most of my stuff is FEL work. Is was a biggie.
WAF = 2. She drives it and can run the loader. She is not an operator though. It is my opinion that the wives and older kids should know the basics about running the machines. You never know when you may need them to do the work. I had her make a few passes on the driveway with the backblade and she did OK, has to know how in case I am not here I have been called out for entire weekends + so if it snows a lot befor I get home someone needs to at least blow a hole in the snow. She did drive it before I bought it so that she knew what we were getting.
