I have a new M4 (delux cab) and I am looking to add a radio. looking for recommendations/suggestions for as close to "Plug & Play" as possible.

KUBOTA RADIO - KUBOTA RADIO HARNESS

They have adapters, or at least the Kubota side of the adapter in addition to plug & play harnesses for radios they sell. A generic 1DIN radio will be $100 for a name brand one, probably $50 for a cheap one. $350 for their plug & play one that is allegedly ruggedized. No problems with my generic Kenwood automotive unit in 500 odd hours so far. Could afford to replace it a couple times & still come out better than the ruggedized one on the off chance it does quicker than in a car.

I found a no name plug for $15 & made up my own adapter harness to a generic 1 DIN Kenwood radio. I'd assume Ms would use the same plug & pinout as well.

I have a clarion single din, around a 100 bucks, i also removed factory speakers and squeezed some 4” kicker coaxles in factory holes, plenty loud even with ear plugs, and simple push button operation. all on amazon

I have an an alpine stereo (Alpine UTE-73BT Digital media receiver (does not play CDs) at Crutchfield) in my L3560LE, just put a kenwood in my buddies new L6060 and have already mated the harnesses for an identical kenwood for my MX5400 (comes with property I'm closing on tomorrow). May do a multi speaker amp/sub system at some point, just because...
All work great. Factory speakers sound pretty good. I have replacements at the ready.
Helps that I was a professional car audio installer for over a decade but it should be an easy job for a beginner.
**lots of car stereos only play phone through front speakers, wire up the speakers to the front outputs.

I have used good quality radios taken out from Vehicles, bought at thrift stores for 5 or 10 bucks. Downside is, many are larger than what car stereos used to be, and some are security locked. One BOSE (I think) unit that was in a HONDA, in my Kubota R510, I managed to get the code from a dealership.

Messicks has a plug and play (correct harness included) for Kubota cab tractors.

It’s cheap but surprisingly good sounding. Bluetooth enabled as well.
