Agreed. Thanks. What about your top link? They don't seem that expensive (as you say, "tractor lane"), but did you need to replace your top link to accommodate the extra length of the lower arms with the Pat's? I was out there "screwing around" with mine last night and I don't think there are another 4" on mine to adjust out.
I had to extend it but my top link was plenty long and still have more I can push out when needed. The added 4" did not cause trouble. The bent arm does. (Was damaged when a large sickle bar mower was not properly attached and swung side to side... [and for once - not my fault!] The mass bent the arm an 1/8th of an inch but enough to give some hassle... not enough to force a replacement yet. That does stress the pins on the attachment.)
(I don't have a hydraulic top link (it's on my list)! The list of improvements is long. There are so many more things I would like to add to take care of 210 acres. Still need a grapple.. forks... FEL is only a year old. So, we are building and supplying our needs. Right now, a new barn is going up to house all the tools. Hope to have all the tools under roof by November.)
