Quick Hitch and Lifting Shrubs

The Land Pride Quick Hitch on my Kubota L2501 works great and I do not want to take it off (I'm only half handy) But I do want to use the 3 point hitch and a chain to lift some shrubs out of the ground, and maybe lift some small logs as I drag them out of my woodlot. What's the best (safest) way to attach a logging chain to the QuickHitch? Should I add a 'horizontal draw bar' that somehow fastens into the QuickHitch? Thanks!

I would hook it up the same way I would if I didn't have the QH on the tractor..

For skidding logs I use a choker chain attached to my FEL . I keep the logs nestled in the bucket and lift them just an inch or so off the ground and keep them low and slow as I back to my yard. If you have a qa FEL you can jet a stump bucket that would be great for digging and moving shrubs.

I would hook it up the same way I would if I didn't have the QH on the tractor..

Which means a drawbar, yes. Don't forget the bushings when you get the drawbar.
