Quick attach ideas

Im thinking of buying a Westendorf quick attach for my Massey 1040 FEL

Anybody have experience with them or any recommends for quick attach system

Loader to tractor? Or loader to implement? If you are talking impliments, SSQA is the only way to go.

Since you didn't post any Westendorf model numbers or pictures, I am guessing that you want to convert to SSQA:

I think many of the 1040's came with a pin-on bucket only, which is probably what the OP has. And I think the OP is talking about converting to "Snap-Attach". (Developed and marketed by Westendorf on their loaders...)

I will say that my 1040 has the Global/Euro style QA, and I LOVE it!! Only have to get off the tractor to unlatch, and then once you have the new attachment hanging, you just roll back and , "snap", the pins lock it on. (With SSQA, I think you have to un-latch, then re-latch the pins...

If westendorf's setup is similar to Global, it is probably nice, but I think I'd recommend converting to Global or SSQA anyway, so you don't have to modify every attachment you buy... global and SSQA are both common. "Snap-Attach" is only common to Westendorf stuff...
