Question on JD 3040 instrument panel

My father in law has a 1980's 3040 JD Tractor he recently purchased, but has no book with it. On his instrument panel below the fuel gauge he has 6 indicator lights, we cannot find out what the bottom right one is, right below the light indicator. It is a circle, white inside with black dot in middle, and on the left side it has approx quarter circle beside it. I will be back to a JD dealer later this week, but thought you all might give me an answer. Thanks for your assistance.

D7E, you are right, its the light for the hand brake or emer brake. The brake is not on, the light is just on. Thanks for your response D7E.
