First Part :

Lets say you have 2 bricks of equal weight but made up of different materials.

Lets say one of these bricks is much much larger than the other ( but remember the same weight )

Lets say you throw both bricks using the identical amount of force in the throwin.

Will the larger brick require more effort to stop before impact than the smaller brick? Or will they both use the same amount of energy to stop before impact?

Better yet will or could the larger brick be more uncontrollable or more erratic in its actions before impact than the smaller brick? Both brick same overall shape but of different sizes.

Stop before impact? Is someone catching them?

Size doesn't enter into energy calculations, just mass (weight) and velocity.

I do not understand how size cannot be part of the equation? In my mind something that dwarfs another object in size would be much more difficult to control

The bigger brick is going to catch more air drag and slow faster. If you were measuring kinetic energy 2 objects of the same weight of the same speed would have the same energy regardless of size.

You didn’t ask if it’s harder to move a 200 pound refrigerator or a 200 pound steel block that’s only a little more than 1/3 cubic foot. If you threw them both off a cliff and they hit the ground at the same speed ( which they wouldn’t ) the energy would be the same.

If the bigger brick had a spoiler it would have more downforce and therefore would fall faster. :)

One thing can be more difficult to control, but still have the same energy when moving.

Ten pound rock vs ten pound balloon. At the same velocity they will have the same energy, but the balloon may be 20 feet diameter and impossible to catch.

I think the question applies to a vacuum.
