Question about John Deere canopies

Came across a John Deere fiberglass canopy on my local craigslist for $185. I figure I can probably get it for a bit less than that, but it's off a JD 955. The question is will it fit the ROPS on my 790? I know they are each a different design, the 955 is made of a continuous piece of steel, whereas the 790 is made in three different sections, bolted together by two castings in each corner at the top. Anybody have any idea if the canopy will bolt right up to a 790, or if it will be a "close but no cigar" fit?

I have no idea but I'm responding to give your post a bump up the charts so someone who does know might have a better chance to see it.

If you have time, you might check with the dealer to see if the part # for the two tractors is the same.

Good idea, I think I will call them tomorrow morning and see if they can tell me for sure.
