Have you discussed this with your dealer? I expect some shuttering and a little noise on all our tractors, but I never get the big bang you are describing and would be concerned. Is there anyway you can upload a video of this, some TBN members have done so which gives us all a better understanding of he issue.
Yes, they think it is a shim problem, I will measure blade deflection when I get home today. See previous post from a form member's manual on this thread.

TripleR Post: This information is not in my manual.

In the section on assembly: Start by assembling blades without shim (#2). Insert blade bolt (#1) through blade (#3), dish pan (#4) and
flat washer (#5). Temporary secure blade with a used 1 1/8"-12 nut. Draw nut up snug. Do not tighten.

Check blade deflection. If deflection is greater than3/4", remove blade bolt and reassemble as before except include shim (#2) in the assembly. Select shim thickness based on deflection. The greater the deflection, the thicker the shim.

Once blade deflection is correct, replace used nut with new locknut (#6) and torque to 450 ft-lbs.

I cant post pictures, but it seems "possible" this was not assembled djusted properly, just a thought.

The following is from Land Pride Warranty, Service Advisor: My blades deflect only 1/4 inch and are dragging on the pan.

It appears that there is some flex in this blade. You may have to remove or even add some shims. The blades should have between ½ inch and ¾ inch end play when hanging straight out from the pan. Too much and the blades will lock over, too little and the blades can drag on the pan.

That was pretty much covered in my reference to the manual wasn't it? It "seems" the dealer did not set it up properly and they should make it right or so it would seem to me or am I missing something?

Good luck, I know this must be frustrating.

Yes it was, and it was not in my manual and your manual left out the between 1/2 part. Thanks for posting.

It sure did, I had to go back to make sure I hadn't copied it wrong, glad you got it figured out as this will help when I take my blades off to sharpen.

Hopefully your dealer will make it right for you so you can get back to enjoying the tractor.
