Question about converting to a SSQA type attachment.

I am wanting to buy a telehandler that I can change the attachments on the front end.

I have seen a lot of the Kalmar RT-022, ex military rough terrain forklifts for sale at a decent price.

Can you change the forks to a bucket or grapple? Or even better, install a quick attach plate on it.

You can change most anything to suit your application. The issue arises in the complexity of the change and your pictures sure make it look complex.

All that metal looks like at least twice the thickness of any typical tractor or skid loader quick attach implement I've seen.

I wouldn’t put SSQA on a full size Telhandler. They’re twice or 3x as big as the machines designed to work with SSQA. The global style mount they already have is way better and stronger anyway.

Keep in mind that one on that link it's for tractors. While can also be called Global quick attach, the style and dimensions are different than the one on your machine.

I wouldnt put the SSQA at your current quick change. Put it on the current fork frame so you dont loose the shift, tilt and other hydraulic functions you currently have.
