Quadra cut system.

In the middle of maintenance on the in-laws 2 Honda walk behind mowers. One has just one blade, and the other has the 2 blade system on it.

Is it worth it to keep this 2 blade system, or should I buy 1 blade and just switch to a 1 blade setup?

I have noticed this quadra cut mower with the bagger has less power then the side discharge mower. Exact same engine, purchased at the same time, they have the same amount of hours on them, so it shouldn't be anything else.

I am thinking the 2 blade system is what's slowing it down?

I have two honda commerical walk behinds. one is older single blade and one is the newer twin blade. the twin blade cuts the grass smaller so I spend less time dumping the bag.....I notice it. gas saved and time saved. but.....you have too keep them sharp. they are a little thinner metal then the single blade model.
