If you just turn the blade around backwards, it will work fine and you won’t have to mess with contraptions.

He was probably thinking about a rear blade on a tractor. Most of those will pivot and can be spun around backwards.

Yeah well, that reversing the blade doesn't work well with heavy wet snow. Tried it a few times, snow doesn't like to slide across the back of the blade as well as it does the front.

It actually does if you get the top link angle and blade angle set right it will roll even wet snow.
