More thoughts on this: If you take the bucket off an use forks, the bucket weighs about 160 lbs., and the forks? depends upon the forks. The Everything Attachments forks weigh 220 lbs., and the Kubota forks weigh in at ?

I thought I would resurrect this, because I am still contemplating whether or not to buy the Kubota quick attach for the FEL.

Has anyone done this with a BX25, and have you observed the change in lifting capacity?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated as well. Thanks

I have the Kubota Q/A on my BX24, I haven't noticed a significant change in lifting ability since installing it. To answer an earlier question, the Kubota fork assembly is just shy of 200 pounds. The forks themselves are 75lbs each, plus the frame. I just mounted two of Ken's hooks on the back of the Q/A bracket so I can lift without the weight of the bucket or forks. Now someone just needs to come up with a receiver mount/trailer mover that pins onto the Q/A.

Matt.

I have the Kubota QA for my BX25, broke one of the ears off the QA that holds the pin for the hydraulic ram. The welds are not good at all, little to no penetration. I have pix, will try to post tomorrow. The machine had 9.5 hours on it when it broke. Barlows sent me a new one, had the old one re-welded.

How have the BX 24 and 25 FELs done with the quick attach over the last few years. I am planning to get one for my BX24.

Wow, Robs, that does it for me. Forget Kubota. Maybe Jerry's

Follow my threads and posts on Jery's. There are pics I attached. You cannot go wrong. The quality, ease of use, and versatility are impeccable. If my dealer comes through on an 80-Series, I may consider putting the Jery's Q/A and forks up for sale.
