I currently have a box scraper on my BX2350. I used it to push snow last winter with mixed results.
Are there any advantages to purchasing a rear blade that can be angled and using that in place of the scraper?

Advatages of rear straight blade is that it can be angled to windrow the snow off to one side or the other. Also you can push with the rear straight blade with the curve of the blade backwards and it will float over grass and gravel areas without digging it up as much as the blade cutting edge facing that way or like the box blade cutting edge.
Rear blade is definately better than the box blade for snow removal.
