Panther1400, I appreciate your thoughts and hands on reports, but I really don't expect you to explain this away. I'm surprised that there are not others here with a work connection to Bobcat who have experience or knowledge that could lend some insight or explain why a work machine has axles that appear to be vehicle axles. I've been in this position before, and I know that if I don't settle it before I buy, and it's a problem,I will inevitable hear: well if you thought it was a problem you shouldn't have bought it.

My tractor weighs 3400 lbs, so it is lighter by a ton. It was not designed for any type of loader except that which you can attach to a 3 point hitch.

Panther said you have load bearing axles on your tractor. Meaning they support the weight of the machine and NEED to be bigger then the tc axles that only turn the wheels.

Panther1400 is right about that, and something I must consider. Thanks

There is much I probably will never know about the engineering that makes these things work; so I am willing to accept another's understanding but I'm still looking for that person. Until then, I can only trust what I see. Next week I will dig deeper. Bobcat is a good company and the Toolcat is the perfect machine. The question is whether I am the perfect owner?
