I am thinking about buying a pulverizer to do some grading and leveling to a pasture I am planting, but I was wondering what I could do with it after I have my pasture planted.

Has anyone tried to use a pulverizer to pack a seed bed?

Would a pulverizer work to maintain a crush and run driveway?

Or would I be better off to just buy a box Blade? I already have a landscape rake and a straight blade.

I am a newbie to the site, but I would appreciate any help. Thanks

I bought a Leinbach 6'er a few years ago for a project I was doing. One day it just happened to be hooked to the tractor when I started down our gravel driveway. By the time I got to the other end of the drive, the pulverizer was the official "fix the driveway tool".

They do a nice job on dirt too.

But if you don't have a box blade OR a pulverizer, I'd get the box blade first. Far more versitile.

I used a pulverizer to level around 60 tons of crush & run. Worked great. I think this is a great tool.

Thanks for the info, looks like both the pulverizer and the box blade are great tools. Maybe I just need to get both!
