Well its a some what of a sad day and a very happy day. I will be sending my little b2910 to live with my father to help him around his house and I have decided to purchase an L4240. I figured I would get the biggest loader in the L series that I could get. While my 2910 has served me well and done everything I have asked of it there had been a couple of times where more lift and lift height would have come in handy. I really do not need any more than the 2910 for most but truth be told I have a four post lift in the garage and when not in use i cant park the 2910 on it for storage or to service it for that matter and not being able to use that bay (pain in the neck to drive on and off with my truck daily and in the winter i dont want salt and sand on my lift) limits my 3 bay garage to a 2 bay. I dont know if there was anything else I should have considered but it should be more than enough for my 2.5 acres. I used to mow my lawn with the 2910 which is why i went small in the first place and when I could afford it I bought a g2110. I have to say its nice having a dealer that I can pick up the phone and say I need this how much and with no bs I get a rock bottom price just wish it was the local dealer but they seem to want to take my arm and my leg when it comes to price. I wonder if it would be easier to get my wife to move to pa or the dealer in pa to move to nh thats a close one. I will post pics once I get her but it wont be for a few weeks as they need to get some pcs for it and then our schedules need to align but the ball is rollin

Yeah I had the rears loaded. I had turfs on the 2910 as I mowed for two or three years with it in the beginning but I opted for the r4s on the 4240 since it's no longer needed as a lawn mower. With the 2910 it was easier to convince my wife we needed a tractor when I told her I would mow the lawn of our at the time newly purchased house ( money was tighter then). I also opted for a kubota third function valve, bradco pallet forks for the quick tach loader and had them put a woods backhoe frame under it so I could use my bh80x. I have a woods finish mower, a quick tach power angle 7ft plow and a landpride rake with a drop down blade already. I am sure I get more attachments in the future but for now I am set. How do you like the foot pedal, the hst plus and the loader control ?
