Sometimes,some of these welding supply places sell,or can get reconditioned welders,,don't know much more than that,,a place I stopped at mentioned something in the way of that a couple years ago,,and knew a guy who bought one from a welding supply place,,name brand,,maybe half cost of a new one,,might call a couple places and see if it rings any bells with them,,thingy

over 4K is a lot more than i paid for my BOBCAT 250.
it has a 10K generator, plus 100% duty cycle, on AC/
DC.
