I also own a Cub Commercial Tank M48 2005 model year, and just got out of shop yeaterday because govenor went bad. Mowed for about an hour and I did notice that when mowing in, not so tall grass that it seemed to stall. There are new blades on deck. So finally, it did stop. I checked belts and all seem to be fine. However, I called the guy who repaired govenor and he said when they tested
it out after repairs, it seem to stall with them. The guy said he tightened the clutch up and it worked fine. NOW IT DON'T!!!! Please don't tell me the clutch is bad. This machine has about 400 hours on it.
