PTO SHAFT TIGHT

Whew!! No problem gettin' cutter drive shaft off the tractor. Grease on inside of PTO adapter was sufficient to lube it up. Thanks to all for helpful hints. Going forward, would white lithium grease be appropriate for that purpose??

Yep...but any grease will do the job.
I use a spray white lithium. I don't use it everytime I rig a PTO shaft...but I do not leave implements rigged to the tracto for any length of time.
