Pto shaft needed

I have an attachment that is missing half of the pto shaft. Basically I have the male portion of the shaft so I would be needing the tractor part. I'm not having any luck finding these on-line. Anybody have some suggestions on where to look?

The shaft would need to be between 18" and 21" long, the inner diameter would be 3/4" and needs to fit a standard 6 spline pto.

They carry a large inventory of hard to find parts/pieces for PTOs' including shafts, yokes, U-joints, couplers, adapters, etc.
They are good to deal with, and will send you a free catalog with your order if you ask them. Very handy catalog to have when looking for repair/replacement parts.

TSC (Tractor Supply Company) stocks a lot of PTO shafts and parts!

Thanks guys. Randy at Central set me up. Unfortinatly TSC is hours away from me so they are not a viable alternative. Never understood why they don't have more stores in Wisconsin.

I had the same difficulty after purchasing a JD rotatory mower with the tractor portion of the PTO missing (fortunately the mower portion with the clutch was still there).

After some excellent suggestions here on TBN, I ended up finding the least expensive route to be purchasing a complete shaft and using half of it.
