PTO powered buzz saw (pic)

Spent many hours on the catching end when I was barely big enough to lift the cut piece from the saw to the hauling trailer. We had a home made job with a Hercules 4cyl. Then we graduated to a PTO wide leather belt unit which was run by a 9N. This is my set up today. A lot smoother than the old days.

If I remember this weekend I'll get a photo of the one we have for the front of the JD "B". It attaches to the front of the tractor and is belt driven, although it has not been used in many years I remember my father using it. He would be cutting and I would be holding the end coming off of the saw and throwing it either onto a pile or wagon.
