I’m having trouble with my BX72R wood chipper. The hydraulic feed roller will run full speed in reverse, but it will not move at all in the forward/feed direction.
So far, I have:
What should my next troubleshooting steps be? I’m trying to determine whether this is likely a valve/control issue, a check valve or relief issue, a hydraulic motor issue, or something mechanical in the feed roller system.
So far, I have:
- Removed all pressure from the roller.
- Checked the check valve on the return line.
- Removed one of the hydraulic motors to see whether it would spin when I engaged the roller The result was the same with the motor removed as it was when the motor was installed on the machine.
