Just a quick up date of what has happened the last few days...
call a dealer out of state and the service was unbelievable just on the phone. Anyway we got to talking about what I was wanting here is what we've come up with as far as extras and price.

building online came out to 53,474

Sounds good to me, I wanted cast centers and air ride on our M8540HDC, but our other tractor was toes up and we were in the middle of a time limited project, so we couldn't wait.

Retail $53,000 and priced at 49K is not a great deal. I would figure a clean sale would get a 12% to 15% discount plus the bonus bucks Kubota is now offering. Just my two cents here and lots of things go into accepting a deal or not.

Plus "free"delivery which is and hour and a half away. And giving me exactly what I'm wanting out of my current 7060.

I would like to see the price lowered a little bit to be 100% satisfied

These trading deals get very cloudy.

Were it me, I'd go back to what I paid for the original tractor, how much depreciation I am able to swallow, what the new tractor is actually worth using the 12-15% off MSRP mentioned above. If the dealer's math doesn't match my math I'd walk away. It gets soooooo confusing intentionally. As you just said, they are giving you what you want out of your current tractor so you are satisfied. They know that. So the price of the new tractor is inflated to make their profit margin convenient for them. It's your choice. Understand, you are going to get beat up in this deal, regardless of what dealer you choose. Interesting to see how each paints it.

Nice tractor there OT. Run it some and give us a run down. That is a very popular model around here. Great size for the 50 to 100 acre cattle farms that are very common in this area.

You've got one of the best utility tractors around and it's got a great cab. You'll be glad you added the extra rear weight with the loader on it since they can be a little "bouncy" without it.
