Prices.

I always use the car diesel pump. It was $1.349, I didn't look at the truck pumps. Gas is now $1.399. I heard on the local news today about a lady that drove 250 miles round-trip to fill up her car because somebody had dropped the prices to $.999. There's a piece of logic for you.

Had to go to town this morning (Corsicana, TX) and filled up with 87 octane gas at $1.569 (I believe that's a new record for the highest priced gasoline I ever bought except in Canada)./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif Diesel was $1.399.

YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY OUR GAS UP HERE IN MICHIGAN IS AT A LOW RIGHT NOW OF A $1.89 FOR UNLEADED REGULAR AND DIESEL IS $1.49.LESS THAN A MONTH AGO WE TOPPED OUT AT $2.29 FOR UNLEADED WITH DIESEL STAYING ABOUT THE SAME.I WISH TEXAS WAS NOT SO FAR AWAY I WOULD FUEL UP DOWN THERE!

Yeah, duster, I guess compared to you guys we're "lucky". But I just looked at my records and found that I filled that car on July 5, 1999, for $1.049 a gallon, so that's very close to a 50% increase in price in one year./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif I don't know about you, but my income sure didn't go up 50% in the last year.

Are you over there north of the Detroit Area?
I'm west a bit near Battle Creek and our prices are down to $1.729 now! So much better than it was, with more relief in sight now that the Saudi's have said they're going to increase daily production. Might get some relief by Labor Day!

I was down in Indiana last Saturday and paid $1.589 /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif
