Price Check Price on 5030

Some of you might have seen on the general Kubota fourm the my HST went out on my 4330 and is very expensive to fix. I am in the market for a new tractor with a loader. i found a 5030 hst in good shape with 330hr.. Does that seem to be a good deal?

That is not a bad price with the low hours. I would see if you could get them down to 18,500. I would also be sure it looks like it has not been abused or weathered......

I paid last June $23,500 for My L5030HST with quick attach loader and remotes. I have no regrets either. Hopefully that gives you more insight.

Why is blazes would you want another HST? If the HST's were any good then the M's would have them also.

deerlope: good for you on saying that!!! mr 4330....you may consider upgrading to M series, there's a reason std trans is used in rugged ag applications, longevity is one of them go for it! bb

K4330: what about the 5740? more engine & pto hp, probably more pricey than 5030, but in the long run you may be more satisfied with the newer model. might compare specs on the k site good luck bb

I am all for more HP but I need to keep the payments down, This is very unexpected. They got back to me about the 5030 and I think it is a good deal. they are giving me $8200 for my 4330 so I am putting out $11,300.I am even keeping my front bucket because the 5030 comes with a bigger bobcat bucket. The place that is working on my 4330 offered $1000 for it which in my book is a insult..

I picked up the 5030 today and all looks good, It has a dent in the hood but that just saves me the trouble of putting a dent there..I haven't played with it much yet but I did notice that the 3pt seems to cat1. the holes that the implements hook to seem much bigger than my 4330. Not sure if I shoud switch the implements or the tractor ?

mr 4330. can't you put adapter bushings in the 3 pt. fittings? I got the dealer parts man (the one I try to make friends with) to throw them in with the deal. think your existing should already be cat 1? sounds like you got a square deal on it and will be glad to be rolling again. bb

Thanks guys.. It is good to be rolling again, I did notice a bushing in the capartment behind the seat and I think it will be easier to get a few of them and do it that way. I think my 4330 was cat 1 and the 50 is cat 2.. I might be a little shell shocked after the tranny went on the 43 but when going down a hard rd flat out at 16-18 mph this 50 seems to wine more than I remember the 43 doing, Do most of them wine ?

4330: your model probably has spur final drive (rear end), though your previous one almost certainly had the same. planetary gears are used in larger ag models that are more quiet. but I might be wrong on the 5030 since it's considered ag too I think. how many hours on it? may consider as starters a hyd oil change? that won't quiet things down but good prev. maint. I think the whine is normal, it was on my new mx 5000 that I kept for 50 hrs before trading it in on something larger. enjoy! bb

The machine has 338 hrs and all the fluids and filters were changed at 332 hr.
