Anybody know? I read that the MX5100, which replaced the MX5000, has a turbo charged engine and a syncro-shuttle transmission.

I'm just assuming the turbo was added to offset the new 2008 emission standards because they are rated at having the same PTO hp of 44. I wonder if the fuel economy is effected by the turbo?

The transmission would be cool. I'm not thinking of trading up, just curious.

As I recall, it was about $1500. You are right, the turbo is for emissions compliance. It should help fuel economey. There are price increases of $200-600 comming to almost every model to meet emissions.
