Buying Advice Powerstar T4.75

   / Powerstar T4.75 #151
My dealer has a rops model without a loader, but he told me he can get different brackets and put the 815 loader on it. I saw in an earlier post only one loader was available, just wondering if anyone else had heard this.

if the ROPS is a 2wd, do not put a loader of any kind on it. it will void your warranty and can possibly break your front axle. the only loader for a powerstar T4.75 is a 655tl from new holland you can suposedly get an after market one from Alo but im not sure. i wouldnt use any loader but a 655tl.

The tractor is 4x4. The dealer already has the brackets and should have the loader installed this week. Now to decide whether to buy a powerstar or T4030.

buy the T4030...with out a doubt better machine top to bottom. The powerstar is in no way shape or form an equal replacement for the T4000

Hey Tanker, that is how my whole search started out. :)

Sold my previous NH to get something with Power Shuttle for FEL work.

Had a ROPS T4030 on my mind until I decided to step on up to a cab. When to sit in a cab T4030 and there was a T4.75 next to it. I liked that the T4030 was physically smaller but liked the looks of the T4 much better. The cab layout and ergonomics of the T4 pushed me towards it and away from the T4030.

However, the T4030 is tried, tested and true, it's a proven platform. Plus, the sales programs are much, much better on the T4030 versus the T4 being the T4 is a new, long awaited model. Tough call!

I know where a used ROPS and cab model plus a new cab model (all 4x4) is at if you ever need them.............just one state south of you!

Good luck!

Interesting. As someone who knows jack**** about either of them, can you tell me why? I was considering one of these t4's but if they're less than what they're replacing.... Thanks.

A local dealer just had two ROPS models (4x4, FEL's, Power Shuttle) arrive.

I test drove one and it seems like a nice machine. I did notice the Fiat engine started quicker and had quite a different sound than my old Iveco.

Been noticing more and more radial tires on the T4's. Seems like when they first hit here in late 11', very early 12', I was seeing Michelin radials. Now, everything looks like they have Galaxy radials on them.

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday!

I bought the Case version last Friday with R4 tires, 12x12 power shuttle,540/540e pto in rops, with canopy. I got the 720 loader (same as the 815).

The Case prices were considerably cheaper than New Holland. I don't know why this is being thatthey are basically the same tractor.

Thanks for the update tanker. The tractors are identical other than paint and the grille / headlights.

I'm trying to pull the trigger on something this week, either blue or orange. Not having any luck with a T4.

Went and re-test drove some Kubotas over the weekend. The cab is nice, just not as nice as the T4. The T4 cab is larger with more storage and a better placed cup holder! Just my opinion though .....

Don't wanna add any more stress, but I'd consider seriously trying to get hold of the T4. I'm loving mine, and it's a heck of a lot more tractor than my M6040 was. Granted, my 6040 was open station... I did try out all of the Kubota cabs, right up to the 9540, and they just didn't click for me. Heck, I think the T4 cab weighs in around what the 9540 cab does, doesn't it? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Thanks for the support!

You are right on the weight, the T4.75 and the M9540 are right there with each other.
