I did check the pressure with no steering wheel input, and got 40 psi right off of the adapter plate. While turning the steering wheel I got 20 psi. Based on everything I am reading and hearing this plate is supposedly the culprit. It seems odd that there are quite a few people chiming on that the have this issue, must be a design flaw.
My decision becomes with a machine with 2500 hrs and an obvious hard lived life, do I tear into everything (trans, gear pump) while I am at it...
