Power Loss????...it's not the fuel filter

I recently had the exact same problem with my L3130. Turned out the delivery tuuck driver had allowed some unleaded gas to get into the diesel tank. They did clean and refill the tank, fresh filter etc. No problems since. Good luck...

On the query on how I bleed the fuel system....the owner's manual states simply open the fuel cock on the filter bowl and run the engine for 30 seconds and then stop engine. That's it...sounds like it bleeds itself.

The valve I was referencing is called a "ASSY COCK,JET START" in the parts PDF (also referred to as "Air Vent Cock" in my owners manual) item 080 in the PDF that is attached.
Here is what the owners manual(L4400 and even MX5100) says about this valve.
"Always close the Air Vent Cock except for bleeding fuel lines. Otherwise engine runs irregularly and/or stall frequently".
Some of the newer Kubotas(how many?) have this valve.
I attached the PDF of this valve on the MX5100 for reference the MX5100 is a turbo my L4400 is not a turbo and has the described valve.

Today, before draining the tank and inspecting the fuel line, I thought I would first install new air filters. I thought I had solve the problem because it worked really well up to about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs and then, the same old problem. This time I took a look at the clear fuel filter chamber and notice the fuel coming in, but not fast enough to keep it full. So I'm guessing the fuel tank or line is probably clogging. I did take a look at the fuel cap as suggested before I ran it today. It does not have a hole on top or if it does, it is covered with a factory flammable sticker. Anyhow, I took look at the inner rubber seal with the bulbous center and noticed debris coming out a hole in the center. So I popped the seal out and found the foam inside was coming apart. I replaced it with a new piece of foam, cleaned up the seal and cap and reinstalled it. After I returned home once the tractor started to lose power, I noticed a small leak around the fuel cap. Could this be a source of my problem? The tank was less than 1/2 full and I know I did not spill anything in that area. I have not tried the cap removal technique as suggested because I just got that message when I returned today. Might it be as simple as a new gas cap?
