Are you now out of warrantee?

Waiting to get a copy of the TSB but there's one out there relating to problems of nothing happening when the pedal is depressed but then the machine will then lunge forward.

I got info that says that issues like what you were/are having about it just seeming to run out (tires just stop spinning) has happened to others and the resolution is the same as the correction for the no action then lunge issue in the TSB. It was read to me but I believe the resolution required no parts, just some adjustments or removal of a plate and re-insertion.

I'll send more details when I get them.

I've been reading this post with interest as I've been admiring the RTV since I first hear about it. I currently have a Cub Big Country and am thinking of selling it and getting the RTV. ? to Dargo. Are the tires you are running and the standard Kubota tires the same rolling radius? Or do I have it wrong, are they from Kubota?

My tires are larger, wider, and have a much more aggressive tread pattern. They fit without the lift kit I added, but the lift kit assures me that I won't cut a tire by rubbing or have mud pack in under the fenders and rub.

Thanks for the info. As we all know that the minute you change rolling radius (or anything that can be converted to it) the overall drive line ratio changes. Can be quite dramatic for what appears to be small diameter changes. Larger diameter = lower torque and in theory higher top speed ,if and only if you have the power to get the same max rpm's from the power plant. I wonder if you are running into lack of power issues that are brought about by changing the diameter of the tires??

I never posted a clear pic of my RTV with the 2" Essex lift kit on it. Attached is a pic of my RTV sitting on level ground with the lift kit installed and with 25" Maxxis Bighorn Radials. Can anyone tell the difference with the lift kit? I've gotten used to it, so I don't recall if it looks different or not. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yes, you can see the difference. I have both before and after pictures of my RTV and when you put them side by side you can tell. Take a look at Kubota's web site and look at some of the stock pictures..... They look low....
