Your oxtail soup looks delicious. How do you make the cheese sliders?
We buy a pack of Hawaiian rolls and slice the entire bunch in half at once. Then we separate them.
Put in ham, or turkey, or ham and turkey and your favorite cheese. We use American on some and Swiss on some.
Make a mixture of finely chopped sautéed onions, poppy seeds and melted butter.
Spread a bit inside the bun tops, put the tops on, then spread a bit more on top of the buns.
Bake in the oven until the cheese melts.

What American cheese?

What American cheese?
North American!

:ROFLMAO:

Just individually wrapped Kraft or generic American and Swiss. Nothing special. You could really use any of your favorite cheeses for melting. It all tastes good.

White Bean and Ham Soup
Ingredients

1 can of Great Northern beans
2 cups (approx.) chopped, cooked ham
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Celery rib, chopped
1 cup (approx) chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
low sodium Chicken broth to cover

Add the olive oil, onion and garlic to a medium sized sauce pan and heat until the onions begin to clarify. Stir occasionally.

Add the ham, parsley, Italian seasoning and enough chicken broth to cover and simmer for 30 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.

Add the beans and liquid, plus enough chicken broth to cover. Simmer for 15 minutes and serve.

A dash of Tabasco sauce goes great!

Ok, Kraft.

South Bend has a lot of small farms producing great American artisanal cheeses that stack up with the best in the world. I will make your slider with a traditional Amish cheese.

Found out from the wife that the sauce also has Worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard. I'll get the exact recipe and post it.

Mini Ham Sliders

3/4 Cup butter
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of poppy seeds
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 and 1/2 Teaspoons of Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons dried onion

Cook that all together - stir till mixed

Place the bottoms of the Hawaiian buns into a glass baking dish.
Add meat and cheese
Brush the mixture on the cheese
Place the bun tops on
Pour remaining mixture over sandwiches
Bake 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or as desired

Experiment with other meats if you please

Ok, Moss. Thanks for giving us the exact sliders recipe. What beer would you wash it down with?

Miller 64 or Iron City Light.

My wife would choose Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA.
